What does a website cost for a small business?
A basic website starts at $500 for the Starter package and $750 for Standard. Custom builds start at $1,500 and are scoped based on what you actually need. Every package includes a 3-month free Basic Care Plan after launch.
What is included in every website you build?
Every site includes custom code with no page builders or templates, mobile-ready design, a contact form, SEO and AEO markup, schema markup, Google Analytics setup, Google Business setup assistance, and 3 months of free Basic Care Plan coverage after launch.
How long does it take to build a website?
Most sites take four to six weeks from our first conversation to launch day. If you have a tight deadline, tell us early and we will do our best to work around it.
What do I need to bring to get started?
Just an idea of what you want your site to do, and any photos or words you already have. We will help with the rest. You do not need to have it all figured out before we talk.
Do I need to own my domain already?
No. We can help you register a domain or use one you already have. Either way, you will always own it outright.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Builds are split 50% upfront and 50% at launch. If upfront cost is a concern, ask us about the no-upfront option. We work it out on a case by case basis.
What is a Care Plan?
A Care Plan is our monthly hosting and support package. Basic Care Plan is $35 per month and covers keeping your site live, SSL managed, monthly analytics, and one small task per month. Advanced Care Plan is $65 per month and adds monthly content updates, review monitoring, and priority support. Every build includes 3 months of Basic Care Plan at no charge.
What if I want to make changes after the site is live?
We include one round of changes after launch. After that, Care Plan clients get small tasks covered monthly. Anything bigger is scoped and quoted before we start.
Will my website show up in Google and AI search results?
Every site we build includes technical SEO, schema markup, and AEO so your business can show up in both traditional search results and AI assistant answers. We also help you get set up on Google Business.
Do I own my website and domain?
Yes, completely. Your domain, your site files, and your content are yours from day one. If you ever leave, we hand everything over. Nothing disappears.
Do you work with businesses outside of upstate New York?
Yes. We build websites for businesses anywhere in the country. Our primary area is upstate New York and western New England, where we can meet in person, but we work with clients remotely from anywhere.
Can you help with photos or a logo?
Yes. We work with local photographers and designers, or you can bring your own. If you need photos or a logo before we can build, we will help you figure that out early.
Do you do e-commerce or booking systems?
We do simple e-commerce and booking integrations. If you need something complex, we will help you find the right fit and scope it honestly.
What if I already have a website I hate?
We can help you start fresh or improve what you have. Either way, you will end up with a site you are proud of.
What happens if I want to cancel?
You can cancel anytime. We will help you move your site if you need to, and you will always have a full copy of your content and code.
